I asked Mary Luscombe what her best memory of Ann was.  Without missing a beat she said "I loved it when Ann and the boys, myself and children would all go over to Betty Smaridges and all the children would play together.  It was a lovely times"

Ann visited Mary just recently.  A friendship that probably spanned at least 70 years!
