On holiday to Devon we of course, went by ledstone, and knocked on Ann’s door. We introduced ourselves as Lidstone’s, at which point she stopped us wanting to guess which section of the family tree. What was amazing is that she was correct in her guess! We were then invited in for as lovely warm and trusting welcome during which we had a lovely chat. We left Ledstone feeling welcomed, with more background history of the village and Lidstone news, and happy that we belonged to such a family!
